The textile art project ‘Vävpoesi’ (Poetic Weaving), came from an idea I had of combining different voices from different individuals into one interlaced structure. I wanted to see if a new kind of poetry could be created through a textile medium, when lots of individuals came together and created something new. The framework is constructed by me and in some way of course guided by me, but I still wanted to leave parts of the decision of the creative process to others.  Each individual is in charge of what they want to write and how to weave in their piece of fabric, which part of their text that should be visual to others and which part should remain for their knowledges only.
